Executive office fitout with leather lounge chair

A successful fitout is about more than the finished space. It’s also about how the project is managed along the way.

At Emerald & Oak, we bring practical fitout experience and careful project management together. We take time to understand what you need, communicate clearly and pay attention to the details that make a space work day to day.

We approach every fitout and renovation with the same goal: to make the process straightforward and deliver a result you can be proud of.

Michael JP Ferguson, Founder and Director

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

A Journey Built on Experience

With over 25 years of experience across carpentry, joinery, fit-out and project management, Michael JP Ferguson brings a rare combination of hands-on trade expertise and senior project leadership to Emerald & Oak.

Starting his career as a kitchen and bedroom fitter in Ireland and Jersey, he built his foundation in the trade before relocating to the UAE in 2012, where he progressed into supervisory and management roles. Since then, he has led multidisciplinary teams and specialist subcontractors across some of the UAE’s most prominent projects.

His practical background, City and Guilds qualifications in Carpentry and Joinery, and extensive experience managing people, trades and supply chains continue to shape the company’s approach: practical, accountable and focused on delivering quality results.

His experience spans hospitality, retail and high-end residential interiors, including work at IMG Worlds of Adventure, Al Maryah Mall, Dubai Hills Mall and luxury villas across the UAE. He has led large site teams, coordinated specialist trades and managed projects from early planning through to handover.

Michael founded Emerald & Oak to bring that hands-on experience together with clear, attentive project management.
